Program Overview

The 2024/25 Surrey United SC BCSPL High-Performance Academy (HPA) is an extremely popular high-performance player development academy program for the U11-U12 (2013 - 2014 born) select players in the region that want to prepare themselves for potential future assessments and placement in the Pre-BCSPL U13 & BC Soccer Premier League at the U14 level. This program was one of the first of its kind in the region and has been run by Surrey United SC for over a decade producing exceptional players who have gone on to succeed with the: BC Soccer Provincial Program, Whitecaps FC, Whitecaps Rex Program, and Canada Soccer National teams.nt Women's World Cup.

 

This regionally based, high-performance academy is designed to service motivated select players by providing a competitive environment that pools players with similar technical and tactical abilities under high-performance standards. The program features a best in class and recently updated positional training curriculum that includes Goalkeeping, mental skills training and video analysis supported by a revamped curriculum exceeding licensing standards developed by our Technical Department: Sporting Director Jeff Clarke and Technical Director Troye Flannery.

​*NEW* for 2024 Video Analysis highlighting individual training habits, individual technical mechanics and player mirroring/modeling. Further, emphasis will be placed on technical evolution through the development/age stages.

Admittance into this program is by invitation only. This program runs Friday evenings through the season from September to February at Cloverdale Athletic Park.

PRELIMINARY TRAINING SCHEDULE

The program begins on Friday September 20th, 2024 and runs until January 31st, 2025.

• 5:45pm - 7:00pm

• 7:00pm - 8:15pm

 

Cost

$375 for the program plus the mandatory High Performance training shirt and jacket ($65.00 - see below)

​Note: Refunds for this program are governed by the SUSC Refund Policy. There are no refunds for any kit purchases under any circumstances.

​HPA ACADEMY KIT

Adidas is the kit supplier for all SUSC Academy programs. The black SUSC Adidas Condivo training jacket and black Academy training shirt will be the mandatory kit for the HPA Academy program. If you already own one of the black Adidas academy jackets or HPA training shirt from last year, then you do not have to purchase a new jacket or shirt this year. If you have lost or outgrown last year’s training kit (training shirt or jacket), you will be required to replace it. Order the Academy Kit through Demosphere when you register.
