Program Overview

Sponsored by SUSC Community Partner: K4 Construction

SPECIAL NOTE: This program is adapted for and focused on providing an environment specifically designed for children with physical disabilities, ADHD, FASD, OCD and other cognitive and sensory challenges. This program is open to participants that would not otherwise be comfortable in a traditional soccer program setting due to mental and/or physical challenges.

The curriculum for this program has been developed in collaboration with Jill Crichton - Kinsight organization Coordinator for Complex Developmental Behavioral Conditions; and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Program delivery is led by Surrey United SC Technical staff coach, Tyler Henderson with oversight by our Technical Director. Junior Club coaches, mentees from our SUSC Mentorship Program, and other club volunteers provide further support in the successful delivery of this program. Curriculum is based on CSA Learn to Play model.
