Surrey United Scholarships

 

Each year Surrey United Soccer Club awards 4 scholarships of $500 each to graduating individuals who have the intent of continuing their education at a post-secondary institution.

Award Criteria:

1. Minimum of 2 years with Surrey United Soccer Club (player, volunteer, coach, referee, etc.); and

2. Graduating from high school in 2024 with the intent of attending a post-secondary institution

 

Application Requirements:

1. Maximum 250-word personal essay that includes and details the following: (a) Your experience with Surrey United Soccer Club and the impact it had on you, (b) Your involvement in your community and any school activities/clubs/committees you are a part of and (c) Your post-secondary intentions and career aspirations.

2. Letter of reference from a Surrey United Soccer Club coach/staff member.

3. Letter of reference from a teacher or employer.

 

Scholarship recipients will receive their monetary award upon confirmation of enrollment and attendance at a post-secondary institution.

Deadline to apply is April 30, 2024. Applications received after this date will not be accepted.
