Meet Our U14 (2012) BCSPL Head Coaches:

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Shearon as the Head Coach for the 2012 U14 BCSPL Girls and Muchtar Ganief as the Head Coach for the 2012 U14 BCSPL Boys.

Mike Shearon: Head Coach - 2012 BCSPL Girls

Mike brings a wealth of coaching experience, currently serving as the Men’s

Head Coach at Trinity Western University. Originally from Macedonia, Ohio,

and now residing in Langley, B.C., Mike has over 15 years of experience

coaching youth soccer camps, including serving as the Director of Athletes

in Action Soccer Camps from 1998-2003.

At both the university and club levels, Mike has built a remarkable coaching

resume. He has coached youth teams with Kopion FC, served as the JV and

scouting coach with Wheaton College, and was the assistant coach at

Cornerstone University. Locally, Mike has made an impact as the head coach

of the Fraser Valley Action U21 and PCSL teams.

With such a diverse and successful background, we are confident Mike will continue to drive success for the 2012 BCSPL Girls and foster their development as elite players.

Muchtar Ganief: Head Coach - 2012 BCSPL Boys

Muchtar has been working closely with our 2012 boys over the past

few years, bringing his wealth of experience and leadership to the

boys age group. He also leads our 2011 BCSPL Boys and 2007 BCSPL Girls,

both of which have achieved great success under his guidance, reflecting

his long-standing ability to develop elite-level players.

Muchtar Ganief, a BCSA Provincial B License Coach, brings over a decade

of coaching experience to the table. Since 2017 he has been an integral part

of the SUSC Technical Coaching Team, demonstrating his dedication to

player development and team success.

Muchtar has played a key role in the success of many Surrey United teams, including the 2005 BCSPL Girls, who were crowned Provincial Champions and earned a spot at Nationals! His dedication to player development and technical excellence makes him an invaluable leader in our club.

We have already seen great success with the 2012 age group, and we believe Muchtar’s experience and leadership make him an excellent fit to continue building on that momentum with this team!
